Introduction:

CAS Visiting Professorships for Senior International Scientists (Visiting Professorships Program) is launched in 2008. The aim of the Program is to enhance the science & technology innovation capacity of CAS institutes by inviting accomplished researchers from overseas to participate in research in CAS with the hope of strengthening the cooperation and exchange between CAS institutes and international research institutions and universities.

Prof. Kuzyakov works as a visiting professor in our lab with Dr. Xu Xingliang as his host.

 

 

Brief introduction :
Dr. Yakov Kuzyakov’s research covers major areas in soil ecology and biogeochemistry, such as CO2 fluxes, C sequestration, C/N turnover, nutrients, rhizosphere processes, priming effects, soil chemistry, bio-degradation, etc. applications of stable and radioactive isotopes.
Prof. Kuzyakov published more than 100 referred journal papers.
He is on the Editorial Boards of European Journal of Soil Biology, Soil Biology & Biochemistry, Plant & Soil and Journal of Plant Nutrition & Soil Science.
Prof. Kuzyakov have been working in Germany, Russia, USA, UK, Africa, and during 2010, he works as a visiting professor in the CAS, with Dr. Xu Xingliang as his host.
