Prof. Wada Hideki Visits Yucheng Comprehensive Experiment Station, CAS

Prof. Wada Hideki from Shizuoka University, Japan visited the Yucheng Comprehensive Experiment Station (YCES) of CAS at the invitation of Prof. LI Fadong on 5 May, 2012.

The professor paid a visit to the YCES field experiment sites, including long-term no-tillage experimental field designed in 2003,surface evaporation observation fields designed in 1985,large-scale weighing lysimeter fields designed in 1990, as well as additional YCES laboratories. Prof. OUYANG Zhu, the director of YCES, introduced the respective research and working domains in YCES to the visiting professor and had a successful discussion with Prof. Wada regarding viable projects of common interests for future cooperation.

Prof. Wada Hideki is employed at the Faculty of Science, Shizuoka University. He has devoted himself to isotope geochemistry since being awarded a PhD degree from Nagoya University in 1978. His research has been published as result series in various scientific journals for instance in Science and Nature. Moreover, he is a member of The Geochemical Society of Japan, The American Geochemistry Society, The European Geochemistry Association.

Dr. LI Fadong is a professor from the Key Laboratory of Ecosystem Network Observation and Modelling at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
